Meet Joshua Walker, Our Founder
Joshua’s path to founding Correct Choice Home Care was shaped by both his education and his profound personal experiences within the healthcare industry. Armed with a bachelor’s degree and a master’s in business administration with a concentration in Human Resources, Joshua embarked on a six-year journey through the healthcare sector that would ultimately redefine his career and life’s purpose.
While working in Human Resources at a local home care agency, Joshua’s responsibilities brought him face-to-face with the individuals and families he served, involving him deeply in their lives through home visits and direct interactions.
It was through this hands-on experience that Joshua discovered his innate ability to connect with people—particularly the elderly and disabled—who need compassionate and competent care in the comfort of their own homes.
Disheartened by the lack of high-quality care he observed in the existing agencies, Joshua was driven to create an alternative that placed the well-being and dignity of clients at its core.
In 2019, Correct Choice Home Care was born out of his desire to elevate the standard of home care services. Located in the heart of South Philadelphia, just moments away from where Joshua grew up, our agency embodies his deep-rooted commitment to community and genuine care.
